"This has always been my favorite coffee place. They have the perfect mocha latte for me. I came in early 8am and no other customer but me. The interior is not so cozy but i like that they have al fresco facing the sea. And smoking is allowed outside."

"It's a cozy place to enjoy sipping coffee or tea along Piapi area. They have a good selection but quite pricy. The servers are polite, friendly, and attentive to the customers' needs. Still need to explore more on this place."

"Have come here a few times with different people. I admit I am not a coffee drinker so I cant exactly comment on the brewed drinks. I had many of their non caffeine drinks and theyre quite good. The tuna sandwich is also fantastic. Its pricey but it makes sense with the location. The atmosphere and location are really great. Its a good place to get away from the hustle and bustle, and its nicely furnished. Service is OK. I do have some comments though about other things. First, the only version of their menu is on the wall behind the counter, and the font and style make it so that its difficult to read if youre near sighted. I would really suggest that they print a smaller but readable menu that people can pick up as they come up to order. Another thing is that you cannot use the wifi if you dont have membership. Third, theres a part of their staircase where the next floor juts out, so if youre not looking, you might hit your head, just like my sister almost did as she was going up."

"Dumaguete’s first CBTL branch. Located in a good location, just outside the downtown area, with more than ample parking in the space behind the building. CBTL has two floors, with majority of the seating on the second floor. Order counter, snack display, for-sale items and some tables and seats available on the first floor. Second floor has a great view of the highway and sea outside, which is great to look at during the day. Bathrooms are on the second floor as well. I visited in July (they opened in May) and so far have a good set of drinks (including my go-to), but food items are much more limited than Manila counterparts. The baristas were really great though, so nice and friendly. Ambiance-wise, the place seems good in the mornings as it’s not really full. Seats are plenty and comfy enough, which is good for studying, working out of office, or just enjoying your coffee. Haven’t been here in the evening, but I assume it’s much fuller because of the nearby restaurants that come alive at night. Being on a highway may be a small issue as heavy trucks ply the roads right outside. Their passing by may result in movements or vibrations for the buildings."

"good ambiance especially when you like facing the boulevard amd see part of siquijor and cebu islands. good location for meetings or study as it is not too crowded yet (newly opened, less than a year) coffee is around 195 pesos. pudding more or leas at 125 a pc. their drink amd food choices are more expensive than starbucks, bo’s and tom’s (franchised coffee; their local competitor) if you are on tight budget but want to hang put, they serve “coffee of the day” at 145 for small size. good and safe parking can be located at the back of the property."

"This branch + its location make the place superb! I’ve not been to a lot of places, but I have been to many cafes, and a fair number of CBTL branches. Though so far, this cafe resonates with me the most. The ambiance, the minimalist aesthetic, and the calming scenery of the sea. Should I reside in Dumaguete, this is the cafe I’d frequent the most."

"This Coffee Bean Tea Leaf actually has two records. One positive, one negative (for the owners).First of all it is probably the most elegant coffee house of this coffee chain in the Philippines with a beautiful sea view. Secondly, of all the branches I've visited, it's also the one with the fewest customers. The size of the locality is very big. It even has a second floor. I don't know why it's always empty. Although it is not in the city, it is on a busy road along the sea and behind there is ample parking. Or because there is no Wifi there ?. Difficult to say, but still strange why it is almost always empty. Anyway, too bad."
